Nepal is a country that covers all sides of the Himalayas, located in South Asia, known for its majestic mountains, rich culture, and diverse landscapes. Although Nepal is small in size, it is home to the world’s highest mountain, Mt Everest. It is the most geographically diverse country in the world, from the snow-covered Himalayas to the fertile land of Terai. Nepal has many famous mountains such as Mt Everest(8848m), Mt Kanchenjunga, Mt Lhotse(8516), Mt Makalu(8485m), Mt Annapurna(8091m), Mt Dhaulagiri(8167m), Mt Cho Oyu(8188m). The mountain offers world-trekking routes, breathtaking scenery, and unique culture.

Nepal is home to more than 125 ethnic groups and many languages. Mostly, it is divided into three regions.  The Himalayan region is covered by Sherpa, Thakali, Lopa, and other mountain communities. Many people follow Buddhism. Popular foods include Tibetan bread, noodles, and yak products. The hilly region is normally recognized as Gurung, Magar, Tamang, Rai, Limbu, and Newar. Its local cuisines are Gundruk, dal Bhat Takari, and in the Terai region, Most in habitat by Tharu, Thakali, and Bhojpuri. Most people of this region eat fish dishes, rice, and traditional sweets.

Nepal is the country where many tourist are come to visit every years are reaching, as per records. Mainly the tourist destinations for travellers are Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara, and Lumbini. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and the main hub for tourist destinations, with the cultural and historical heart. It is the home to ancient temples, places, and UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Pashupatinath temple, the Boudhanath Stupa, the Swayambhunath Stupa, and also the many durbar squares like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square. Pokhara is famous for its beautiful lakes, mountain views, adventure sports, and peaceful atmosphere, and it's also a gateway for the Annapurna Trekking region. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha and one of thre one of the most important pilgrimage destinations for Buddhists worldwide, and Chitwan, which is known for wildlife safaris, jungle activities, and cultural experiences with the local Tharu community.

Nepal has a rich variety of wildlife protected by national parks and conservation areas. Chitwan National Park is the oldest and first park in the world where one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, elephants, Genetic dolphins, crocodiles, deer, and over 500 species of birds. Bardiya National Park, which is in remote areas of our country and is known for Bengal tigers, wild elephants, and genetic dolphins, is rich in biodiversity. Sagarmatha National Park, which is located in the Everest region and home to the snow leopard, musk deer, Himalayan Tahr and rare birds.

Nepal is rich in diverse geography, which supports a wide variety of plants and animals. All the regions have themselves, like the Terai region, which contains typical forests with Sal trees, grasslands, Rhinos, tigers, elephants, and crocodiles. Hilly region with features such as Rhododendron forests, oak trees, pine forests, monkeys, deer, and many bird species. Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal. Himalayan region, which is cold itself, has alpine vegetation, juniper forests, medicinal herbs, snow leopards, blue sheep, Himalayan Tahr and yaks.

Nepal is the best tourist destination according to the seasons. The best trekking season is Spring(March to May). Autumn (Sept to November). Cultural tours are in the spring, autumn, and winter, which are excellent for Sightseeing and culture. Adventure Activities like paragliding, rafting, mountain biking, and bungee jumping can be enjoyed, and the last wildlife safari, which is located in Chitwan and  Bardiya which, is from October to March when wildlife is easier to spot.
