Nepal has a rich variety of wildlife protected by national parks and conservation areas. Chitwan National Park is the oldest and first park in the world where one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, elephants, Genetic dolphins, crocodiles, deer, and over 500 species of birds. Bardiya National Park, which is in remote areas of our country and is known for Bengal tigers, wild elephants, and genetic dolphins, is rich in biodiversity. Sagarmatha National Park, which is located in the Everest region and home to the snow leopard, musk deer, Himalayan Tahr and rare birds.
Nepal is rich in diverse geography, which supports a wide variety of plants and animals. All the regions have themselves, like the Terai region, which contains typical forests with Sal trees, grasslands, Rhinos, tigers, elephants, and crocodiles. Hilly region with features such as Rhododendron forests, oak trees, pine forests, monkeys, deer, and many bird species. Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal. Himalayan region, which is cold itself, has alpine vegetation, juniper forests, medicinal herbs, snow leopards, blue sheep, Himalayan Tahr and yaks.
Nepal is the best tourist destination according to the seasons. The best trekking season is Spring(March to May). Autumn (Sept to November). Cultural tours are in the spring, autumn, and winter, which are excellent for Sightseeing and culture. Adventure Activities like paragliding, rafting, mountain biking, and bungee jumping can be enjoyed, and the last wildlife safari, which is located in Chitwan and Bardiya which, is from October to March when wildlife is easier to spot.
