While travelling for Tours, packaging is the most essential factor to make your travel easier and more comfortable. The right equipment transforms a good tour into a safe, comfortable, and unforgettable experience.

Travel Bags & Luggage

  • Main suitcase or duffle bag- Durable, Medium-sized(15-20 kg capacity).
  • Daily sightseeing, carrying water, camera, sunscreen, and personal items for daypack (20- 30 L).
  • Small crossbody bag or waist pouch for documents, money, or valuable items.
  • Packing cubes or organizers for helping separate clothes and accessories.

Note: Always label your luggage clearly and keep essentials in your daypack.

Clothing Essentials

(Seasons and altitude vary in Nepal’s climate)

  • Lightweight shirts or t-shirts (breathable, quick-dry).
  • Wear Comfortable trousers or Travel pants.
  • Casual evening outfits for resting in the hotel and dining periods.
  • Wear simple clothes that cover the shoulders and knees for temple visits.
  • Jacket and fleece with lightweight wear in Mornings/evenings.
  • Waterproof jackets are worn especially during the monsoon (June-September).
  • Travel shawl or scarf for multi-purpose use.
  • Comfortable underwear, sleepwear, and lightweight socks (3- 4 pairs).
  • Comfortable walking shoes, sneakers.
  • Sandals or casual shoes for evenings.
  • Lightweight hiking shoes for short hikes.
  • Flip-flops for hotel use (optional).

Weather Protection

  • Sun hat or cap with sunglasses (UV protection)
  • Sunscreen (SPF 30-50+)
  • Lip Balm with SPF
  • Compact umbrella (useful for sun & rain).
  • Light Gloves and a woolen cap for winter.

Electronics & Gadgets

  • Smartphone With Charger.
  • Camera & extra memory cards.
  • Power banks (10,000 MAH recommended)
  • Universal travel adaptor (Nepal uses Type C, D, and  M plugs).
  • Lightweight extension cable (optional).

Note: electricity can be limited in rural areas, so keep charged a devices.

Personal Care & Toiletries

  • Toothbrush & toothpick
  • Travel-size shampoo & soap
  • Quick-dry towel
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Wet wipes
  • Personal medications
  • Basic first-aid kit ( pain relief, band-aids, motion sickness table)

Note: Keep items lightweight and travel-sized.

  • Passport ( valid for at least 6 months)
  • Visa Documents
  • Travel insurance
  • Tour confirmation documents
  • Copies of important documents (digital & paper)
  • Nepalese Rupees (small denominations)
  • Credit/debit card

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Electrolyte tablets (optional)

Note: Staying hydrated is especially important during sightseeing at higher elevations.
