Trekking in Nepal requires preparation for changing Weather, from warm valleys to cold high-altitude trails. Pack light, layer smart, and prioritize comfort and safety.

Clothing

  • Moisture-wicking base layers (avoid cotton).
  • Trekking shirts and pants
  • Fleece jacket or warm mid-layer
  • Down or insulated jacket
  • Waterproof and windproof jacket
  • Waterproof pants
  • Warm hat, sun hat, and buff/neck gaiter
  • Lightweight gloves and insulated gloves
  • Trekking socks (4-5 pairs)

Footwear

  • Waterproof trekking boots ( well broken-inn)
  • Camp shoes or sandals

  • Rain cover for backpack
  • Sleeping bag suitable for cold temperatures
